Title states most of it. Is the civic type R eligible for any league, specifically the NASA Honda Challenge? And if so what modifications would I have to make in order for it to comply? Lastly is there any way I could get this car legalized for road use? I'll mostly track it so not a big issue, but use on the road would be cool. Also could I import it through a honda dealership, or should I go somewhere else to get it?

The car is not on the rules yet as it is not offered here in the US. Contact an official and ask about it.

Importing the car would have to face a 25 year wait like car like the GTR does.
Most states require further emissions like California.
It appears that the car can be used in HC but id make sure the car is 100% legal by contacting a HC tech official, and getting it in writing.
Honda, or US Honda dealers will most definitely not import any legacy vehicle in the US for sale

2017 will be sold in the US, however it's hard to say if it will be elligable due to the fact it will have a turbo.

Yeah, I can't see them allowing turbo powered cars into Honda Challenge yet. That may have to be classed in PT. My guess is PTC** at minimum if not PTB.
