How would I go about on doing this? I know it's impossible to remove the deeper scratches, but what about the lighter ones?

On raw plastic? Coloured plastics are rather hard to rejuvenate. Have you tried a detailer spray?

little bit of body work and paint 'em. or do what I did put bedliner on em, I own a spray on truck liner business, I sprayed all my lower panels on my Scion Xb 3yrs ago and they still look good and just sprayed my civics. you should be able to get 'em done for less then $100 and if you use Reflex spray on truck liner you wont have to worry about them scratching again.

Wouldn't that have a rough/gritty texture? I'd decide against using spray on bedliner. I used to have a wrx near me that sprayed the lower portion of the car with bed liner, and it looked extremely tacky, and not to mention if you ever want to re-spray them a certain color or anything, your going to give yourself so much more trouble. If it's bare plastic you might be able to find a decent body filler for plastic's. I know bondo makes a bumper repair kit that comes in an 8oz tube and is made specifically for plastic, I'm sure you could put it on and sand it smooth to fix the deeper ones as well. I'd rattlecan it with black/clearcoat before i'd spray it with bed liner.

my Liner is called Reflex and its a soft liner not like that roll on crap. painting it may be a problem if you dont know what you are doing. but GenStar singel stage sticks very well or even a floor paint works awesome. and everyone loves it on my scion and civic

Here's a link to that bumper filler I was talking about. I'm thinking that should fix your issue of both deep and light scratches. After sanding it down smooth you would have to paint them to make them match. Honestly, Kustom has these great "outside-of-the-box" ideas, but when it comes down to it, you might as well use automotive paint and call it good. I've seen rattlecan jobs do it just as well. Don't go buying truck liner, or floor paint, just get something that was relatively meant for cars.

@Kustom, every reflex liner i've seen after looking it up, is still textured and rough. I'm sticking with my guns and imo it's tacky, and difficult to reverse.

Bakerskater your right if you want to go with a smooth clean finish. one thing i would suggest if you are going to fill the scratches and sand. use a primer surfacer. when you sand plastic it gets hairy and you will really notice the hairiness when you prime then sand with a higher grip paper and its gone and the primer will fill in any imperfections and it will give it a little cushion for the paint. but always remember to prep your plastic right or it will just flake off

Just sand them and use a light body filler or glaze on the deeper scratches than paint match them.

3M trim paint works really good, just use a little filler and 400 grit beforehand.

sand out the small scratches, putty the deep ones and then use plasti-dip it drys smooth and you can get it in any color you want

it's spray on rubber basically so it's very durable
