Removing: Bumper Reinforcement Bar?

Removing: Bumper Reinforcement Bar?
1997 Civic coupe.
It looks like it is only bolted by two or three bolts.
Is there anything else that has to be done to remove the bar?
And if i install the front bumper cover back on after removing the bar... will it make a difference?

i was involved in a minor accident..and it was the only thing that was damaged. well also the bumper..
i was just wondering how to remove it.. so i could replace it.

definitley wanna keep reinforcment if you hit anything you *** up your whole front end even low speed collision you will be boned
