For you guys, who paint and change valve covers regular. What is the Honda GSR/B16a stock black? I'm tired of the red.
Powder coat: gloss, satin, flat or other?
Thanks

Re: Official: Post Your Valve Cover (56k warning)
Did a little refresh on mine. Shaved it a little too.
OFC I fucked up the paint in the lower middle portion...
Fixed it, ish.
Skunk2 Anodized hardware seeps oil...unless you put a little RTV in here. Once you tighten them all down, just wipe off the excess. 5k and zero seepage.
Don't mind the missing nut on the spark plug cover. I am replacing those four nuts with something else later anyway.
Finished product with my custom headlight intake attached getting ready for the strip.

Haven't painted mine yet but will I be good with using a high heat primer for a base coat then top it off with any color of my liking without experiencing any chipping?

I used duplicolor wheel coating And haven't had any issues, as well as on my old D series i used regular paint and had no issues with that either.
