integra quarter panel dent repair. INPUT PLEASE.
So I live in mn and as most of you know cancer is a huge problem up here. So I decided to partout my current integra cause of rust and get a new shell. So I found a rust free 96 with a jdm front; cf Hood, lip, and hids. For 1700. But here's the kicker, the rear panels have some nasty dents from previous owner opting to use his mirrors. I need your opinion if these can be worked out with a new qp, that would be almost pointless aa I could find another one with rust. Thanks in advance.
Pics, sorry for the size.
Drivers side: not as bad.
I know it is rattle canned, if it can be fixed, by a pro, it will be stripped down to metal and repainted championship white.

It can be fixed. It will take quite a bit of work however. Would be easier to tell the extent of the damage had it not been rattlecanned flat black. I wouldn't buy a car that had been rattlecanned like that because there is no telling what it might be hiding. Ensure that it is truly rust free with a good magnet or by tapping prior to buying that shell.
To fix it, you'd need a hammer and dolly (many of them), possibly a shrinking disk.

Totally missed that. Nice catch. You'd probably have to cut it out of another car though. The OEM panels are rather pricey IIRC, probably get a better price on a new shell. And if you plan on cutting out of another car, you'll run into the rust problem.

But with the price of the jdm front in that I'm almost tempted to just fix it. I go to school at a tech college for auto tech and I might see if the body department could work something out.

They certainly will be able to. It will take work, but it is more than possible. Hammer and dollies, shrinking disk, you should be good. Might even be able to use a minimal amount of body filler.

So in your honest opinion, if you were in my shoes in mn would this shell appeal to you? I mean the jdm front goes for 1200+ alone.

If you know a place handy with a hammer and a dolly, absolutely. Well, that is conditional. Make sure the subframe and the rear quarters are in good shape.

Yes. I checked qp and underbody and no rust present. It has been parked during winters for that reason. I will also be rust proofing the vehicle underbody and inside quarters etc.

Yes. And I just spoke with a friend on a local forum which does great work out of his garage and he said another DC came in with the same dents and everything and quoted me 1500-1800 for full respray, side molding shave and antenna shave.

Basically, it heats up metal very quickly and then you throw water on the metal, causing rapid cooling and shrinking.
Nifty tools.
