CRX painted tonight, check it out.
Me and my dad painted my car tonight in my garage. He did the spraying, while I did most of the bodywork and prep. The paint is PPG Shopline, a lil FBP and alot of Storm Grey. I also used 3 tsp gold pearl, with 1/2 tsp silver flake. Turned out very nice for a dusty garage paintjob. I still have some finishing work to do: jambs, trim, moldings, etc.
Now i'm tryin to decide what wheels to go with, I have some 99 si wheels that i'm thinking of polishing. I'll take some more pics tomorrow in the sun, if you have any Q's just ask. Well here are some pics:

you got any pictures of how you rigged the compressors? Also what size tip are you spraying with? Paint came out good.

No, but one of the compressors had 2 ports on it. So we ran a hose from the other one (single port), to the one with 2 ports to join them together. Used a 1.4mm tip.

the color looks great and it really seems to shine well-
but what are those specks in the paint? its that the paint flake or is that dust in the paint?

doesn't look too bad for a garage paint job. I would've at least layed plastic down on the ground to help keep dust from coming up or wet the ground

I did wet the ground, but once the gun starts spraying, sh*t starts flying. The pics were taken about 1 hr after it was done, so the floor had dried up by then.

looks great on most accounts. Looks fantastic that it was sprayed in a garage!
Do you and/or your dad have previous paint experience?

Nice work! I have painted cars in my garage before, dust in the paint and getting the lighting right can be tough.
