yep really...and as far as the glossyness of the paint...its just minor glossy..of course not better than factory paint but u can still see reflections thru the paint

Looks like a low gloss paint job. Not good enough for me. if im goig to spend 10+ hours on fixing dents. and body work, im not going to finnish it off with 50.00 paint.
The advantage of the base and clear is obvious.
It looks much better, glossy. reflective. etc..

Thats not the bloody point! Its just another alternative to the rattle can flat black, not suppose to be permenant!

ill do a good one here in a few weeks. after i get my wheels and tires/suspension on ill be doing this. gonna try it out on a fender or two this week see if i can get the technique down before i do my hatch. im gonna stop over and check out the paint color selection after work today.

i dont think thats a cheap paint job. maybe he paid 100 bucks for it but thats only cause he works at a body shop. i think you mean thats a damn good paint job and your lucky you got the hook ups to get one like that.
