Default I've been on HT since before the split with HA....

I haven't been in cars for a while but I'm back in an Evo. After I'm done with this I can get to the Civic K20 project I've been dying to do. Anyways enjoy. I haven't been on here in forever but hopefully there are still some senior members on here.

I got my car from a previous member while he was putting it back to stock...there were a few things wrong with it but for the most part it was a good deal. Anyways I'm just posting some pictures showing the progress from when I got it (not running) to now. Far from done...I'd say I'm about 65% of the way there. Then its on to another project.

Flatbedding it from the previous owners house:

The flatbed driver was a champ.....figured out how to get the car in to the garage (My driveway is on an decline and I had no clue how long it was going to take to get it running and didn't want it sitting on the driveway until I did)

He had EVO VIII interior (got scammed out his SSL Leather form an evom member trying to get MR interior)

Bought some Rota grids from wheeldude...thinking about getting some DPT's in gold next year:

I sold the EVO VIII seats and got some EVO MR seats from a dude in NJ and the rears from bomjoon (first time I met Joey):

Courtesy of projecttunning my current dyno plot:

Matt was awesome. I went to see him in AL. I left before we could finish but he finished up through email. Great experiece and I would recommend him to anyone. I will be going back to him when I get my upgraded IC, turbo and manifold.

Current way the car sits after installing some Rexpeed bits:

Put Mitsubishi decals on the wheels. Looks department is almost done. I have a Rexpeed Type3 spoiler on order, debating on getting a carbon fiber hood and aside getting some Rota DPT's and possibly switching the interior to all Bride the only thing left is an upgraded IC (either ETS or CBRD), upgraded turbo (CBRD Full/XL, FP Red/ HTA Green/Black....clearly I haven't made my mind up yet), exhaust manifold (Shearer or JMFab) and possibly a ported throttlebody and intake manifold. I have goal in mind powerwise and if I can reach it with just turbo, IC and manifold then I'm good.

Enjoy the pics guys. I know most won't care but I've come along way for only owning the car for 6 months.

The car looks awesome! Good work for such a short amount of time! What are the specs on the wheels?

18X9.5 +20....wrong offset but I like aggressive looking wheels and aside from them being really close to the brakes I love them. I checked on Rays website to see if the TE-37's came in that offset and the closest is +22.

Damn, I remember you from back in the day. But mostly cause I was a 416 guy in the 404 also.

Good luck with the Evo.

I think they kinda lurk. They rarely post though. I hardly post either.

I've got 2 cars - 92 Civic CX (stock) and 92 Civic DX (gutted, caged, fuel cell) but no motor. Had a H2B in it but I had to sell it. I just moved to Iowa for a job actually. My race car is still in Atlanta. I'm hoping to K it up when I get back to Atlanta unless you want to buy it, hahaha.

Congrats on the ride, but I prefer the stock wheels over those.

Really, is it the style you don't like, color or the fact they are Rota's.

What up H?? I sent you a PM now I'm finding your own EVO thread. I was looking for a white or blk EVO 8 or 9 myself. My wife wanted something just a little luxurious so we settled on an Audi A4 2.0T 6spd Quattro. I still want to get an EVO. I'm hoping maybe in a year and a half.

Your EVO is Sick!! Love the JDM rear bumper and bits of CF but I'd be scared to drive that everyday. Good to hear you're back out. I know how you do builds and I know you'll have some super Rare JDM or EDM bits all over it.

Holy thread thread resurrector batman. I know this is from 2 years ago but I figured I'd post some newer pics of the car.

Had a high compression 2.4 LR in it with about 777hp and 571 lbs of tq @ 33 PSI. It would probably break 850 if I turned the boost up and ran it out to 8500 but I ran out of fuel the day we tuned it and then the next week the head lifted.

Replaced the HG and then my transfer case started going. I've more or less just been keeping it on the road while I decide if I want to sell it or make it a little more sane to drive in Raleigh (they treat speeders here like criminals). Anyways enjoy the updated picks.

@ITRBroham I'm good homie just trying to enjoy life and raise my kids.
