any mid 90's toyota truck gurus in here?
friend has a 93 toyota sr5 with the 3.0 v6 engine in it.
runs just fine except every now and then when you come to a stop, it'll act like it wants to die. hit the throttle real quick and its fine after that.
sounds to me like an idle air control valve issue. problem is, I cant find one on it. does it even have one? if not what else could it be? maybe tps issue?? I'm stumped on this one.
I've gone completely through this engine before doing timing belt, valve cover gaskets, etc etc. even pulled the transmission/transfer case out and rebuilt the damn thing. this goofy little issue just has me stumped.
It has no codes either.

Sounds like it could possibly be a dirty MAF. Pull it out and check it. Also clean the throttle body. Might have some carbon build up.
