Hey fellas, I just picked up a 2010 RDX (fwd) and for some reason it has a vibration when accelerating. I replaced the CV axles and nothing changed. I noticed that the previous owner replaced the steering rack and so I checked all the bolts that hold the rack to the sub-frame, they were fine, but i tightened them a little more just to be sure. I checked the sub-frame to chassis bolts (you have to lower the sub-frame to R&R rack) and sure enough one bolt was loose. I tightened all the bolts that hold the sub-frame to the chassis and took it for a drive and its still shaking. Any thoughts?

Have wheels and tires balanced and checked. Ball joints. Alignment.

also do a tuneup and a health check, like a compression test or leakdown test. if valve lash is adjustable, get that done too. a lot of times the vibration can actually be engine related.

Did you use OEM axles? Sometimes aftermarket axles cause this problem. But it sounds like the problem carried over.

Has the vehicle been in an accident that you're aware of?

i had the same issue on my ody. eventually ended up replacing all the engine mounts along with the drive shafts and it helped quite a bit
