Re: Odyssey Build: JDM StyleWagon Content
Many of the ODY owners from other forums are on lurkers on here, haven't seen many threads started on their projects yet. Hopefully my build will encourage them to shed some light on their projects
Anyways, onto the details. Picked up this odyssey from a local family, in need of a major overhaul (interior, exterior and engine). Dents, dings, stains, cracks, rust...you name it. Needless to say, it will be a new van when I get finished with it, and back from the dead.
You can't tell from this picture, but it's a lot worse than it looks. This is Day 1
Here is the last pictures before the van goes off to the body shop...after paint, all the goodies can be installed.
It's both good and bad having to import everything from Japan for this build....a waiting game for sure. Here's what is done so far...

and then...
The VIP carpet arrived. It's actually all black carpet but the way its woven and shaved makes it look like 2 different colors. Premium Luxury Carpet for the floor and mats.
Pair this with this for accessories to complete the look. Garson Vega Leather Collection

good to see people back home picking up on the vans. pick you up some D.A.D. stuff and you'll be set. I really wish they would have released the 3rd gen odyssey in the states. I would've brought home a balsarini body kit with me and picked one up . in for more with this build

Re: Odyssey Build: JDM StyleWagon Content
Nice build! I always wanted the first generation Odyssey, got stuck with second. I want to pick one up to0 and make a '09 Civic front end fit on it, this way it will look very similar to the JDM Odyssey. Will see how my plans work out.

Re: Odyssey Build: JDM StyleWagon Content
Ok so just picked up the interior door panels from the upholstry shop...and what a transformation! After a 2 month wait...
Total redo on the panels:
- Panel Color change from gray to OEM black
- Memory Foam insert
- Garson Vega leather center
- Matte black leather trim w/ french seams
- Chrome-dipped map light, door lock trim and door handle (not pictured)
- Wood-dipped door handle pull & cup holder (to match steering wheel)
The pics speak for themselves! From this:
Olive Green/Gray with Gray Cloth, Gray trim.
To this!

Re: Odyssey Build: JDM StyleWagon Content
Consider the K24A2? ...instead of H series. Your engine bay is basically the same as a 94-97 Accord, HASport makes the kit. H's are getting older and the cylinder liners kinda suck.

Re: Odyssey Build: JDM StyleWagon Content
Although this build is definitely not my taste, i sure respect the execution and give props for originality. Definitely admire the thorough-ness as well.
