Have a parts picker? Need bulb housing replacement. 1995 Odyssey EX.
Hello and thanks for taking the time to read this.
I have a 1995 Honda Odyssey. It's my daily driver, and I also use it for my job as a courier. It has been a great van, all things considered. However, I'm have an issue with it, but I think someone here might be able to help me.
My passenger-side rear idle tail-light housing is broken. Not the reflective part, but the part where the bulb plugs into. I removed the old bulb and replaced it with a new one, being careful to make sure that I had replaced the bulb that corresponds with the malfunction. The bulb still wouldn't illuminate. I removed the old bulb from its [grey] housing and inspected the housing for damage. The metal had corroded on one side of the connector. Just to be sure, I tried the bulb in place of the one on the drivers-side, and it worked just fine. So, my bulb is fine, but I need a new connector that the bulb slots into. I have a picture in the link and can add more if needed.
If anyone can cut the two wires on their spare 1st gen Oddy and mail the connector to me (leave some wire so I can splice it in when I get it) I will pay you a reasonable price plus shipping. I'll create a link in the WTB section if anyone takes interest. I have references if not from this forum then from toyota and subaru forums. I hope we can make a win-win situation out of this mess. It is a 1995 so I guess it's about time for things like this to fail here and there.
Thanks again for reading.

Is it for the 1157 bulb? If so, they sell the sockets at most auto parts stores. They typically cost about $5.00.
Try Dorman part # 84809
Use an ohm meter and probe the terminals on the new part as well as the old so that you can splice the wires accordingly.
