Hi there,

I'm currently looking to replace my 1997 Honda Odyssey which was destroyed by arson and have found a nice looking Japanese imported 2001 Honda Odyssey with a 2001 3.0 litre VTEC V6 with All Wheel Drive. If you're wondering how I managed that on a car less than 25 years old, that's because I'm in New Zealand. I've read lots about the 1999-2003 Odysseys having highly unreliable transmissions, but I don't know if that only applies to the American Odysseys. Does anyone here know anything about the international versions and their transmissions, if they're the same? Any advice would be awesome.
