Default Break light switch?

I have a 2005 Acura MDX and out of the blue the shifter will not come out of park and the break lights, cruse control, and VSA light came on. Reading through some forums I found that all of this is connected to the break light switch. I replaced the break light switch but the break lights still don't come on and I am still unable to come out of park. The VSA light stopped appearing.

Default Re: Break light switch?

Check your alternator and battery. Engine off - battery voltage should read somewhere around 12.5 volts. With the engine running your reading should be somewhere around 14 volts.

Good luck,
Sam
