I sent $550 (money order) to Payneth for an ITR transmission at the end of November. I had no reply for weeks and he replied saying all of his stuff got stolen and he would be sending my money back. Now its freakin MAY and I haven't heard from him and he won't respond to PMs or answer his provided telephone number. Looks like he also sold the same tranny to DC294GSR who is in the same boat. I even got the certified mail so I have his signature and everything.

He is already in the H-T list of scammers (I know I should've checked). His address is real because he is listed, that's why I trusted him with the money order. Cases have been filed with my local PD and his local PD, but it seems like they arent doing anything...

x2...nobody in their right mind would sell an ITR tranny for that cheap.

i guy i know sold his ITR tranny for $600. i actually got a gsr tranny with a quaife for $650. a good deal is a good deal... its not a $10,000 car for $550, THAT would throw a red flag.

wel i guess some things are too good to be true. in this case, what you thought was a good deal, was too good to be true. im not trying to give you a hard time, ive been scammed before too. **** sucks. but i have not once seen an ITR tranny on H-T go for cheap. usually in the 1k ballpark for a great condition one. cheapest ive seen it was for 800 for one with bad syncros. GL to you though. hope you get your money back.

i cant say for sure this was an intentional scam. he may be telling the truth about his stuff getting stolen, but it shouldnt take 2 months to send me $550 back!!!

yeah I hate sending money orders. if i had to send something like that, it would be only paypal, or cashiers check. that way it's easier to report it.

Hey, i heard from like a friend of a friend thing.. that this guy does this intentionally.. I heard he took pics of some new M3 wheels and then posted the pic on ebay and screwed some guy out of 1800$... TTT for scammers...

Do it.. I cna guaruntee he will not pay you back.. I heard that he scams people for hundreds of dollars to thousands.. and then will send them like 100$ a few months later to like try to show hes paying it.. but then never sends anymore..
SO Just do the IC3 thing now.. Youll be glad you did..

i never heard of him til i asked a friend about him and he said he knows the guy through someone else.. SO I didnt let him do anything..

Ham and I have talked previously. I payed Payne $100 for an OBD0 distributor January of 06. I have yet to see ANY compensation. I could give a **** what this guy's situation is, he's a scammer for sure.

Payneth: Get fucked. You've owed me my money for a year now promising me foglights, money, anything to pay me back. I really don't give a **** anymore. I'd rather just write my $100 off and add another vouch to your scammer reputation.
