Seattle area : where to get a alarm?
Where is a good place you recommend to purchase and install a car alarm for a integra? I don't wanna get ripped off but I also don't wanna have a killer deal where my car is stolen from me after by that guy. Anyone have any suggestion where to get a legit deal?

Store locator in the upper right hand corner
If you're that worried about someone stealing your car, in addition to a "Good" car alarm you should invest in a Dr. Hook

I was gonna ask people's opinion but thanks for the links
Car toys seems like a rip off but if anyone knows a hook up I'll appreciate it

Re: Seattle area : where to get a alarm?
I wouldnt go to any best buy...back in the day(about 7 years ago when there were still circuit city's) my gf at the time got a stereo install and they literally electrical tapes the connecting wires together instead of plastic connectors or sodering it like your supposed to. They did this behind the stereo and to the speakers. We didn't realize it until after a bad experience(something completely different) so i talked her into circuit city. they pulled the stereo to see why the music kept going in and out and was always scratchy sounding even on brand new cd's. They discovered the extremely crappy work and I've steered people away since.
Anyways good shops to go to, I trust VTR in everett and I haven't heard any bad work as far as electronic stuff goes.

where are you located? if your in the Everett,Lynnwood,Mill Creek ect area go to car stereo plus on 164th. its kiddy corner from wal-mart. they do legit work and the guys are cool as hell. also that hook pedal thing is useless. i would buy a quick release hub and removable steering wheel before i bought that other thing.

The best place to get an alarm is from the internet or eBay. Look at Directed, they make Viper, Clifford and several otheres. I would never ever trust anyone to install my alarm. I don't care what anyone says about or who recommends what shop, do the installation yourself.
And by all means stay away from the chain stores. You'll spend way too much money and they don't know what they are doing.

Re: Seattle area : where to get a alarm?
I got mine from crutchfield.com a couple years ago, was a great way to learn a lil about my car and MAKE sure it was done right. and being able to know what to do if I wanna upgrade or add on to exsiting alarm is priceless. I wont let anyone touch my car if I can do it myself my money means alot more than my time right now. only took me about 8 hours in total, because I hid the alarm so wires cant be just ripped to disable alarm. crutchfield techs were helpful and patient too!
