Possible New Business, You Make It Better.
alrighty guys. im looking for criticism, ideas, things you'd like to see, service you would like done and so forth. im making a business plan right now to open up a shop in washington just working on hondas/acuras right now.
Main Services:
Swaps
Tucks
Alarms
Engine Rebuilding
Transmission Rebuilding
Servicing, replacing parts, ect.
Aftermarket Parts (later on)
now you may be thinking that id be in a lot of competition with speedfactory, fluid, and all those other guys, but im not tuning for now (where they make most business). The idea of the shop is for the average joe that blew up his motor/tranny, or wants a little more kick out of his daily.
just looking for some input from YOU the customer for things you guys like to see, want more in shops. one thing i cannot stand is places that charge $90+ an hour for labor. thats just insane even after bills are paid. my main mission is quality, service, and coming from the service and a family business, theres a motto i live by and thats "quality over compromise"
if you read this thank you, and look forward to the ideas, and maybe even some of you run your own show and could help me out.

i think that good pricing and good customer service will go a long way. also you have to have some good mechanics that know about the honda game
but also quick turn arounds of the cars you work on.
