Default Portland guys, give a brother some good news.

Hey guys, been in Beaverton here for a couple of months now. I'm about to purchase this babe:

http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/4845157881.html

I've been going back and forth with the usual Craigslist bickering and trying to figure everything out before I take a trip up to see the space needle.

However, I forgot about DEQ.

For some reason I don't see this being a problem. I know it's less stringent then smog, and when I took my 240sx there I was surprised they didn't bat an eye at my ancient loud KA24DE.

So I'm wondering, will the standard B18c swap get hit with emissions?

If so are there hookup shops here? Just moved from Hawaii and I had to go through that many times.

P.S. I was 18 when I made my username.

Thanks!

Did I say something stupid? I'm sure someone has been here before, it's a popular swap...

That car will only require a sniff test. As long as the catylitic converter is on there it should be fine.
