Default Headsup racing this weekend at PIR (Portland)

If anyone is intested in doing some headsup racing this weeked, the Headsupnw guys are having there last race of the year Saturday night 10/18/08 at PIR (weather permitting). There is no entry fee (Still have to buy tech card) to run and winner wins $100 and both winner and runner up get a trophy. The FWD imports, like most the guys on here are allowed to run up to a 25in slick in there drag radial class. This class has generally been for cars in the mid 10's - 13's. They do all racing headsup on a .4 tree. I hope to see some you guys out there. For more info go to http://www.headsupnw.com or PM me.

Yea, its a lot of fun... Mostly domestics, but a few imports show up here and there. I really try to get more out there. Once I have a schedule for next year I will post it up for everyone.

In the past they had a sport compact class but it kind of faded away from lack of support from the racers. They might reinstate the class if there was enough interest from you guys. Its no different than coming down on Friday and Saturday nights and racing except you could actually win some money

No need for a seperate sport compact class. the whole reason I wanna run is to run heads up with the V8's. That's not something you get to do very often around here because everything is Brackets We just wanna run heads up with some fast cars. doesnt matter what kind of car it is.

Only thing is, i gotta figure out how to get my rear plastic interior back in witht he roll cage in there haha.

you can run with the v8 guys I like to see an import hand a domestic their *** as much as anybody but there are a couple of 9 and low 10 sec imports in the PDX area I would like to see some of the local import guys do more than just come over and make passes against random cars all the time ie a 11-12 sec Integra racing a stock Saturn Vue just because thats the pair the guy running the lanes put together.

if we head down there, i can think of 6-10 sub 10second imports I could bring with me. So we'll make it interesting.
