garage toxic waste disposal in WA
anyone have info on how to dispose of toxic waste?(oil, brake fluid, antifreeze rags, paint cans etc)
i know the following
oil - recycling station, auto parts store.
antifreeze- septic system up to a gallon (most are biodegradable) diluted with water2:1 and flushed down the toilet/sink. BUT CANNOT be flushed to the drain system as it goes to the rivers without filtering.
that leaves.
brake fluid
oily/dirty rags
old spray cans
packaging from tools or oily car parts
car parts liek plastic and metal
im posting this for because i know that people do not dispose of stuff properly so im hoping to turn this into a sticky for NW
because people been just dumping all the fluids to the back of the house and throwing junk in the nearest park/bushes etc. and that is dumb because all that sht goes back to your water that you drink even though its filtered and vegetables that you buy at the store.

When I went to o'reilly's, 1-800-recycle was recommended to me. Shows all the places to go to recycle different stuff.
