hit up wrx-killer-sti-eater(he did mine on my old coupe) he came from socal to do many bay area cars. :thumb up:
be ready to spend some dough tho. i had at least 1k in security. stealth alarm, steering wheel BS. and little things here and there :P

if it wasn't for the people who weren't raised right and have no dignity we wouldn't have to pay that much to sleep at night.

Another attempt again last night. This is the 8th time so far. From there last attempt I decided to shave the door keyhole and removed the rod that unlock/lock the car. This time they decided to pried the window, breaking my weather rubber seal and plastic door trim.

here's a picture of the damage
Attachment 448638

This is starting to get stupid. It costs money to repair the damages and more so to upgrade little things to stay ahead of the thieves.

here are the list of things they have broken from the very first day of the thieves attempting to steal my car.
-window visor (miss dearly, and very useful during raining/winter season)
-si grill
-bumper grill
-window seal
-plastic door trim

One reason I won't miss my Civic. Glad I picked up an S2k...

I've been looking at craigslist and someone keeps saying in the San Jose area theres a red civic that rolls around with one missing fender that's been scouting cars. I don't know if any of you have seen his posts but I have seen em a few times.

Thanks for a tip, will diff. keep on a look out. Ive looked on craiglist and noticed 2 post of owners who got jacked lookin for there 99 civic si and integra ls. that makes about 5 stolen cars within 1 week!.

Did you see the post on the s2k section? there was someone who had his soft top cut open and hood popped, but luckily nothing was missing. A buddy of mine got his seat jacked the same way.

Its time for me to move on (for now) and get a different car and keep it stock.

SECURITY SECURITY SECURITY.....most of you wont be as lucky as me and have your thieves behind bars :)

As for the CREWS mentioned above....I know hundreds of people who will vouch that those guys are thieves

Re: SJ Area Be Alert! Thieves are on a roll

Security really doesn't mean shit to a motivated thief.

Seems like it is the same guy that keeps coming back. I'd set up a couple bright ass motion sensor lights.

My dad's miata got broken into at night in the rain, they jacked the hardtop. Woke up in the morning and the whole interior was soaked in the rain. They went straight for the hardtop only and didn't even bother with the stereo or whatnot.

just curious...but why are you guys not parking in garages or renting / buying homes with them?

if you for some reason are stuck in a place without one a civic.integra is a horrible choice of car, but, if you're hell bent on a theft magnet like this one guy i see in my area, dumpy appts and a nice 01 yellow ITR always left outside. get an alarm that contacts you so the police can be called when an attempt happens. i would also consider a night vision security camera pointing at the car

this is one of the reason why I recently sold my car. No more worries and being woken up at 4am from the 2way pager beeping.

There were people in the past that wanted to know what i drove, and what was done to it to make it a theft magnet. Since I no longer own the car, i thought i share.

the car use to have volks te37, spoolin performance turbo kit, red recaro seats. Decided to part out the car.
