Donations for Joe - (CEO) of SVP - to race on CMI May 31st
O.K. guys......the economy is tough especially with the real estate market taking a dive.....and after speaking with the homie, Joe, from SVP, I gave him an offer he couldn't refuse to see about getting a collection fund for him in order to race next Saturday.
We haven't seen his car at the track in some time. Last time at CMI (a year ago), he just about crossed the 9-second barrier with low 10-second passes. Its not because the car is not ready, its because funds are "tight" and you all know how expensive a race is
So here's the deal. I have convinced Joe that if the Bay Area Honda-Tech peeps (especially with towing, gas, etc...) can all chip in $$$$$ and pay for the following expenses, he agreed that he would take out the INTEGRA and play for a day out at the track at CMI.
Towing Fuel Costs (round trip) - $140.00 - I believe he is coming from Sunnyvale
Car/Driver (Joe) - $45.00
Entrance and Pit Parking for me - $25.00 (I will help if needed for Joe)
Race Gas - (ERC?) - $50.00
Total Costs - $260.00...........
If everyone in the Bay Area gave whatever amount to get to $260.00......we can see one of the fastest Integs in the Bay give us a show.
I would join him if my CRX was done....but it's not scheduled to be done til July so I want to help out my homie with this.
PM me if you guys can lend a hand and I will give you my paypal account.....or however you want to do this.
Thanks guys...and this sport is all about coming together in difficult times.
I know that if I was in the same situation, Joe would lend me a helping hand as well.

Project DC2 is the first to lay a donation
