Default TRIP TO NY, WHERE TO VISIT? Help Appreciated

Hey East Coast! First of all I'm 20 from the Bay Area, California and I will be visiting New York with a friend in early September from Fri-Sunday. I feel that doing research on yahoo and google won't give me the full insight of the fun life in NY. So I'm asking you guys for help! I will be living at a friends house in Bronx if that helps at all. I am mainly going there to walk around the main streets/downtown of NY to do photography, but I do want to visit other fun places. Any must visit store name/addresses/clubs/nightlife sights (18 and over ) would be appreciated. Thanks a lot

well Bro, I work about 2 blocks away from Ground Zero. Down there you got the Court House, Financial District (Wall St. etc), City Hall and other memorable spots. I see tourist with there jaws dropped all the time out there. Where in the Bronx are you staying? I'm from the Bronx aswell.

truthfully, depends on where you are. if you're in the middle of the Mott Haven projects, i wouldn't be walking around at 1AM with an LA hat on & an iPhone in my hand but if you're in anything better than that its not a problem whatsoever.

let me know where you're staying, and i'll definitely help you get your itinerary prepared.
