On Sunday, July 1, 2007 @ 5:00 PM, the Seekonk Speedway on Route 6 in Seekonk Mass, will be holding their 4th of July Festivities. There will be the Patriots Street Team, Demolition Derby, Figure 8, Enduros, Spectator Drags, Pure Stocks, and Fireworks!

I'll be Racing in the Spectator Drag and chilling for the rest of the Night to catch the rest of the Races. Its not the greatest Race in the world but its pretty fun (did it a few Years ago in my old Civic)

The Events start @ 5:00pm and run into the Night with some awesome Fireworks.

Well, it was an AWESOME day! Made it to the 3rd Round (top 25 Cars) and got eliminated by a WRX STi.

My first Race was a very close on. I was up against a Single Cam Civic Bone Stock. He had the inside Lane and I got a really bad take off. He pulled in front and I knew I had to take that inside Lane in order to Win. Took the first turn at a good 60mph in Second Gear and began to try to overtake the Civic. Coming around the Thrid Turn, I saw my chance and went for it. It was SOOOOOO close. We were Fender to Fender and I thought I was crashing into Him but I kept it going and made it past the Trun and went into Turn 3 then crossed the Finish Line!

What a ******* rush. My heart was punding a mile a minute. I checked my Car and there seems to be a little dent right above my Passenger Side Fender. We must have made contact but I never felt a thing.

Second Race my already Bald Tires (horrible Camber wear) started to give and I lost it pretty bad coming into Turn 2. Regained control and won that Race.

I'll defenitely be doing the next Race in August. Hopefully by then I can pick up some new Tires.

What's up ant... I was there. You were driving the blue si and made contact with the silver civic. That was balsy holding your line. Nice race I would love to put the R in there. I give you tons of credit.

so you have to take turns at 60mph+....and risk getting it smashed....i'll stick to the 1/4 mile

If your not a moron and know how to drive yuor not gonna smash ****. I'm all set with quarter mile. Boring as hell going in a straight line.

isn't there one coming up in the next couple weeks. I was thinking of bringin my civic, wasn't sure. Too bad that guy in the T-bird has that event on lock down...experience shows with him though.

Theres on August 5th. I won't be Racing though. I need Tires and Brakes and won't ahve them by then.
