Northeast Tuner Showdown HEADS UP & INDEX CLASSES

Quick 32 - 9.99 or Quicker: Open to AWD, RWD, FWD Hot RodPro FWD trim only.
Rotary and 4, 6 cyl import/domestic sport compact motors ok, import V8 power
plants ok(ie. toyota, nissan). NHRA safety equipment required, must run 9.99 or
quicker in time trials. No year limitation on full tube chassis or back half.
.500 Full Tree, Bracket Style Eliminator. 32 Car Field. Payout based 32 Car
Field. Payout adjusted if field is not full. (Non-qualifiers run in Bracket 1.)
Winner: $1000 + Trophy; Runner-up: $400 + Trophy; Semi’s: $100 + Trophy

All Motor - All brands. 4 and 6 cylinder. FWD only. Naturally Aspirated. Lexan
ok (front windshield MUST be glass). No 1 piece front ends (3 piece OK). 25" x
9.0" max slick. Fuel cells OK, NHRA Guidelines MUST be followed. No pro level
cars. Gutted interior ok. Open exhaust ok Sportsman ladder. .400 PT. Heads-Up
Eliminator. 16 car field. (Min. Honda weights Honda: 2200lbs- J series, 2150lbs
- K series, F2K, 2000lbs - H series, 1900lbs - B series, All other cars-2000
lbs) Winner: $750 + Trophy; Runner-up: $350 + Trophy; Semi’s: $50 + Trophy *Must
have 16 cars for full payout.

Sport FWD - All Brands. 4 cyl. and 6 cyl. "SFWD Trim" Must have 2 front seats
and Interior panels required. No rear seats OK. No Gutted out cars permitted.
Max Tire 25 x 9.5. Open exhaust OK. Lexan prohibited. Water to Air intercoolers
Prohibited 1 piece fronts prohibited. 3 piece fronts OK. 72mm max inducer turbo
size (Max 102mm Exd). Up to 2 Power adders allowed(comb ok) Fuel Cell OK - NHRA
guidelines MUST be followed. .400 PT, Sportsman Ladder. Winner: $750 + Trophy;
Runner-up: $350 + Trophy; Semi’s: $50 + Trophy *Must have 16 cars for full
payout.

10.50 Index - Open to all Import/Sport Compact Cars. Any Combination allowed at
any weight. No Throttle Stops or Delay Boxes allowed. NHRA safety rules apply.
All Run Field .400 Pro Tree, No Deep Staging allowed, Sportsman Ladder after 1st
round of eliminations. Random pairings in Round 1. Winner: $600 + Trophy;
Runner-up: $300 + Trophy; Semi’s: $150 + Trophy*Must have 32 cars for full
payout

11.50 Index - Open to all Import/Sport Compact Cars. Any Combination allowed at

cars. All Run, .500 Full Tree, Bracket Style Eliminator. Winner: $ 300 + Trophy;
Runner-up: $ 150 + Trophy; Semi’s: $ 50 + Trophy *Must have 32 cars for full
payout.

Bracket 2 (B2) - 13.00 seconds & Slower – Open to all Import & Sport Compact
cars. All Run, .500 Full Tree, Bracket Style Eliminator. Winner: $300 + Trophy;
Runner-up: $ 150 + Trophy; Semi’s: $50 + Trophy *Must have 32 cars for full
payout.

Best JDM - Trophy


1st, 2nd, & 3rd trophies awarded in each of the classes below.

(Minimum of 3 vehicles to make a category -or new category can be created if 3
vehicles or more not mentioned below are present.)

1.Best Mitsubishi
2.Best Toyota
3.Best Scion
4.Best Nissan
5.Best Mazda
6.Best Euro
7.Best Honda
8.Best Acura
9.Best Subaru
10.Best Import other (Kia, Hyundai, etc.)
11.Best Old School (pre-91 cars only)

this would be a a great day to break in a few motors before Fall Nationals in Oct.
