FS: 2006 Honda CBR1000RR blue/yellow
I have for sale my blue & yellow beauty. I bought this bike brand new as a leftover in 2007 and have owned it ever since. I'm a former professional motorcycle technician, and this bike has been meticulously maintained by me. It has 22,xxx miles and has had the following work done in the last year (~1500 miles):
-New Michelin Pilot Power tires
-OEM chain & sprockets
-Fresh fluids (oil changed December 2013, and I've put maybe 500 miles since. Used Honda GN4 oil and Honda filter)
The bike also has the following:
-Galfer Superbike SS front lines w/Motul brake fluid
-Yellow reflective rimtape
-Tail tidy
-OEM Honda solo seat cowl
-Woodcraft frame sliders
-Delring rearstand spools
I will also include:
-All manuals and two sets of keys
-OEM service manual in .pdf format (I'll give you a USB thumb drive)
-Vortex rear stand
-No-name forklift front stand
-Folding aluminum ramp
The original fairings were blue/yellow. In 2012, I traded on a set of Titanium/Black fairing from an '07. Late last year, I got bit by the blue/yellow bug again and searched high and low for a set of mint fairings. The fairing on this bike are the best set I could find. They are not perfect, but look good. There is a bit of rash on the tail cowl, and some nicks here and there. Also, I parked the bike on a slight hill once while running, and the bike fell on it's left. Replaced the slider and bar end, but the stator cover is a little scratched. Overall, I think they're a 7/10. The engine is strong and does not burn a drop of oil. I also refreshed the fork seals and oil (w/Ohlins fork oil) in 2011. I am missing the rear seat and passenger pegs (I think I lost them in my last move) The bike needs nothing, just jump on and ride.
The title is clean and clear and in hand. I'm asking $5800 cash - no test rides unless you've got the cash in hand. Rest assured, this bike is 100% solid.
