Ohio Integra meet

SATURDAY, JULY 12th 2008



All plans are not set in stone. This is the current tentative itinerary:

-11am – noon meet at The Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum

-Photo shoot at Honda Anna Plant (engine plant)

-Back road driving

-Cookout

- More driving, possible swimming, hanging out/BSing,. Drinking?



*DIRECTIONS*

The Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum

It's the place that looks like a Giant moon coming out of a big hill. From the north, it will be on your right as you get on exit 111. There is also an orange airplane in front of the place, and it's across the street from the Waffle House.



From the North, (i.e. Toledo)

Take I-75 South

Take exit 111 for Bellefontaine St toward Wapakoneta 0.1 mi

Turn right at Bellefontaine St 0.1 mi

Turn right at N Apollo Dr 0.1 mi



From the South, (i.e. Cincinnati)

Take I-75 North

Take exit 111 for Bellefontaine St toward Wapakoneta 0.2 mi

Turn left at Bellefontaine St 0.3 mi

Turn right at N Apollo Dr 0.1 mi



From the East, (i.e. Columbus)

Take US-33 West

Slight right at Wapak-Fisher Rd 0.4 mi

Continue on Bellefontaine St 0.5 mi

Turn right at N Apollo Dr 0.1 mi



From the West, (i.e. Indiana)

Take US-33 East

Merge onto I-75 N via the ramp to Toledo 0.5 mi

Take exit 111 for Bellefontaine St toward Wapakoneta 0.2 mi

Turn left at Bellefontaine St 0.3 mi

Turn right at N Apollo Dr 0.1 mi








All types of cars are welcome to come. We just ask they step aside for a couple Integra only photos

.SATURDAY JULY 12 . , plan on meeting at " the moon " parking lot ( it will be obvious what im talking about when you get here ) ... EXIT 111 on I-75 ( Bellefontaine St. Wapakoneta, Oh ) ( from North and South ), Follow U.S. 33 to I-75 from East and West.
Meet at "the moon" between 11:00 A.M. and Noon,start the day...

I understand the cookout cause, ya gotta eat... and it sounds fun, but i would prefer something that is going to be quick, so we can get back out there on the road.

I also disagree with the alcohol
drinking... and driving... not a good idea

Why don't you replace "swim and drink" with go to the track!

That would be cool.
Maybe even figure out a way to open a road course track. that would be totally awesome!

the whole swimming thing comes into play later, alot of local friends will be coming, and at the end of the day, i'm planning on heading out to my inlaws, swimming, having a cookout, and there happens to be a pond there, with a rope and high dive and stuff, so...swimming is a possibility( thats also where drinking comes into play, if you so choose, or have DD ) ... planning on meeting around 11 or noon, driving all day and stopping at local spots and whatnot.... going to Honda Engine plant for a photoshoot... etc, etc. i also posted on team-integra.net thanks for the help, PM me anytime.... or email

Your directions need to get a lot better...
I am going to put a google maps link in my posts... but you still havent even said where we are meeting... give us a business name and address. A map would be helpful too but i can dig that up for you. You mention what road... but you dont mention which way to go on it.

there's also a meet 2 weeks befor this one. the other is at slowmotion in Columbus, i encourage people to go if they can, and to donate money.

still working out the details with Honda, to get passed the security gate, Pam and Tina have been very helpful in trying to make this happen, should have the final details come monday or tuesday ( may 12 or 13 )
this weekend im scoping out some different routes, trying to find the best roads to take that will get us to the different spots we're heading to.

Looks like the tour of the plant isn't going to be able to happen.
So we will just have a photo shoot there.

talked to Tina at Anna plant , everything is a go for the stop at the Anna Engine Plant/Photoshoot, no tour though. we are limited on time though, as people will still be working and in.out all day, but we have the OK to get passed the guard shack, and they will know we'll be there. should hopefully turn into a good photoshoot.
