Default Import Survival Event!?!?!

Well, I'm continuing this from the other thread I made about the street SOHC event. I have been thinking and think we should add some classes to bring in more people. If you have any ideas or can help me plan this, please contact me. I will need as much help as I can. The first event will more than likely be held at Cedar Falls raceway in Iowa

Street SOHC

CLASS DESCRIPTION
The class is a street type class that will allow cars to run on a sportsman ladder system and tree (.500). This class will be ran heads up style with no handicaps.

BODY
Stock body must be retained. Any make or model is accepted as long as it holds a street legal appearance. Must retain working lights all around. Carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other lightweight panels restricted to hood, bumpers, fenders, and trunk.

INTERIOR
Must retain the stock interior including the stock dash to behind the front seats. Two front seats are required.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
Stock wheelbase and unibody only. Tube chassis and wheelie bars prohibited. Must retain factory suspension mounting points.

ENGINE
Must use a D-series SOHC engine from a Honda platform. That includes the d15, d16, or d17 from any generation civic. All other engines prohibited including the DOHC D-series engine.

POWER ADDERS
A limit of 1 power adder is allowed. Turbo, nitrous, or a supercharger. A nitrous intercooler sprayer is permitted along with a turbo. There are no limits to sizing on turbochargers and superchargers.

TRANSMISSION
Stock style H-patterned shifting required on all manual transmissions. Automatic transmission allowed.

EXHAUST
Must retain a full exhaust including a muffler and exit at least behind rear axle.

FUEL
All fuel types allowed except for full 100% methanol and E98. E85 is permitted.

TIRES
Maximum of a 25” drag radial permitted. Racing slicks prohibited.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
This class is a heads up “run what you brung” type class for only FWD vehicles. This class is designated for any FWD vehicle with a four or six cylinder can run in this class so they choose to.

BODY
There are no limitations to the body modifications. Full fiberglass/carbon panels allowed.


INTERIOR
No limitations.

CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION
Stock wheelbase and unibody only. Tube chassis prohibited. Must retain factory suspension mounting points. Wheelie bars permitted.

ENGINE
All four cylinder and six cylinder allowed. Engine must be from same manufacturer as vehicle.

POWER ADDERS
A limit of 1 power adder is allowed. Turbo, nitrous, or a supercharger. A nitrous intercooler sprayer is permitted along with a turbo. Compressor wheel inducer size limit is 72mm .

TRANSMISSION

All four cylinder, six cylinder, 2 rotor, and 3 rotor allowed. Engine must be from same manufacturer as vehicle.

A limit of 1 power adder is allowed. Turbo, nitrous, or a supercharger. A nitrous intercooler sprayer is permitted along with a turbo. Compressor wheel inducer size limit is 72mm .

Stock wheelbase and unibody only. Tube chassis and wheelie bars prohibited. Must retain factory suspension mounting points.

ENGINE
All four cylinder, 2 rotor, and 3 rotor allowed. Engine must be from same manufacturer as vehicle.

Power adders restricted. Turbo, nitrous, or a supercharger are considered power adders.

TRANSMISSION
Stock style H-patterned shifting required on all manual transmissions. Automatic transmission allowed.

No restrictions on exhaust

FUEL
All fuel types allowed including methanol and ethanol.

TIRES
Slicks are allowed for FWD cars and RWD cars subjected to Drag radials
