Well fella's i am moving back to Illinois in October from phoenix.

I organized the first starved rock meet and it pretty much kicked ass so im goin to try to get this year's started right.

i was able to attend last years meet and it was a pretty good turn out

im hopeing to try to get it back at the state park at the same parking lot as the first year so we have some good surroundings away from the city

Im wanting to hear from you guys when a good date would be before i start making some phone calls

anytime around the middle of october, begining of november

How about the weekend before halloween, or the first weekend of November? id be down if it was either of those. i work every other weekend so these two would work for me...

I'm one of the Starved Rock OG's myself. I'm up for first weekend of November as well. Rather not have it the weekend before Halloween, theres too much partying that happens that weekend that I don't wanna miss.

it will probably be nov 6 or 7th but im waiting on approval from the park before i have a solid date

so i talked to the people at starved rock and got ahold of a head guy

i told him we were having a charity car show for fallen soilders in iraq

i emailed him all the information he needed from my government email account so it sounds real legit

he told me it shouldnt be a problem at all to have it in the same parking lot we had it three years ago when i organized the first years meet

i told him i will be wanting some sort of written and signed permission from the park officals because if i remember right we had issues with the local pd and they hasseled us about front license plates and shit like that, so if i have the permit i should be able to tell them to beat it

also i requested for nov. 7th from 11 to 5 i hope thats cool with you guys
