FS: JDM B18C Engine - Type R
I am throwing this up now as I hope to have it out by the end of the weekend. I am keeping the transmission for my turbo build so this is only the head+bottom end. I will part the two upon request but the engine has never been opened up minus removing the valve cover for cam gear+camshaft upgrade.
Motor: JDM B18C/Type R not GSR
Mileage: Under 50k. I purchased the engine swap w/24k miles & I have owned it a long time but the Honda has seen less than 200 miles in the last 3 years. Before that It was getting 4-5kmiles a year. The past 1-1.5 years the car has seen 0 miles.
Made 199whp/134tq with bolt on's on hondata s200. I will part the engine if i have a buyer for the head & short block. Does not come with ecu, fuel injectors, fuel rail. Can include MSD w/purchase as I am moving to COP on the new turbo build. This engine was only ran NA, I did have a vortech supercharger installed for mock-up and fab but the engine was never ran on boost, not even started. I got a new job at the time & decided instead of wanting 300whp lets build an engine, go turbo and shoot for 600's. I ran 5w30 royal purple oil. The engine is still installed in the car but the car has not been started in over a year.
JDM B18c/Type R Head
-Stock valvetrain
-s2s1 camshafts
-s2 adjustable cam gears
JDM B18c/Type R Shortblock
-stock/never opened up
Comp: 11:1
Head has never been removed from the engine. I removed the rail, injectors & such a while back as it was running on 440cc's on the last na tune. If i track down the old injectors and rail I will include them for free! I have the factory ignition pieces as well to put back to oem or you can run the MSD box+coil. It worked great and it was a very strong NA setup considering it was just bolt on's and a tune & made 199whp. It would have cracked 200whp if we let it cool down a little before the last tune but it was a midnight 2-am tuning session so that wasnt gonna happen!
Anywho, pics to follow. Lmk if you have any questions. I do have the dyno sheets I can scan in as well. I can also provide any/all details to the last na setup. The bolt on's were all sold a while back to support the turbo fund however I do have that information available.
Feel free to call or txt me for more info: 636-23six-593six

I am having hard time finding what these engines are worth these days. I haven't looked into that in such a long time. I know its not worth anything close to the 5.2k I spent on the swap when I originally bought it. Ill update w/price once I can track down what they sell for. I'm not looking to penny pinch and sit on it for ever but not looking to give it away. Willing to sell for fair price for sure! Open to offers!
I might have the following available as well but I cant confirm until I dig through part boxes/storage.
-stock fuel rail
-stock fuel injectors
-moroso oil pan
-half size radiator w/slim fan
-cross drilled & slotted rotors w/calipers

Have you any proof of mileage on the engine?
Any proof of dyno results?
Any pictures of Engine/engine stamp/code?
Would you ship to europe?
Very interested. Awaiting your reply.

Yes, I have dyno graphs
Yes, I can provide any pictures of the stamp code, engine code etc
I have an original receipt I paid for the swap for $5,500 when I first bought it. Beyond that just comparing the mileage on the cluster is my only way of proving mileage. This car saw very little to no driving period. I was always doing different things/projects which always took 2-3x longer than I anticipated and just moved from one thing to the next. I did a s2k cluster swap on the car I believe back in 2006-2007. I installed a new chip so the mileage was at 0. The car cluster shows the mileage is currently at less than 300 miles.
