Need to know a reputable shop in or around Baltimore.
Hey guys I am currently the happy owner of a base RSX, problem is the motor sucks. I have a Type S 6 speed tranny w/ itr flywheel and 1.5 clutch i/h/e and kpro.. but I need something better. I want to put in a k24A2 in it. I have done minor things like installing intake, RH, exhaust, coil-overs, tie rod ends, brake calipers, etc .. everything but the engine.
I have a lot of tools but I don't have confidence in doing it myself. What should it cost me in our area? What's a good source for engines that won't have problems? I have been out of the honda scene for a while and I want to get it done. Thanks.

If you're okay with a bit of travel, either IMW (Innovative Motorworks) in carlisle, pa, which is all of 1.5 hours north of baltimore. Avoid CCT and JE. In MD, I've heard okay things with Absolute Pro Formance in Finksburg. Engine swaps with all needed parts supplied by your run a couple grand easy, depending on what all you are doing.

Avoid JE Import and Charm City Tuning with out a doubt. I've heard good things about Absolute Proformance. I had them tune a b20vtec that je tuned for me. On the same software in the same weather they were able to get another 11whp and 4tq out of the car. Good guys down there. Also going to IMW would really be worth your while. Taking your car to a good shop is cheaper in the long run. D-Rob is the man when it comes to tuning after you get your motor put in.
