Default Need a good shop in maryland

I have an em1 that I'm looking to get rods, pistons, bearings, head studs, and a full turbo kit installed. I need a good shop to do the work that won't take forever. Any helps appreciated.

Give a shop call Charm City Tuning (CCT) They will have everything you will need and have great prices too.

I do not work for them, but I take my car there. Always good work.

They are all the way in the back. Very last building, youll see all the hondas out front.

There is a shop/sales feedback thread in the market place forum, you might be able to find further insight there. I have delt with Charm city twice and was not impressed.... went for a tune, car cracked a sleeve 2 weeks later; friend of mine also took his car there and cracked 4 sleeves several days later after tune. Just my experiences.... although they do have good prices. Just my .02, good luck.

I've heard very mixed reviews on CCT. I personally won't take my GSR from there because of what I've heard from a few friends who've dealt with them. If you don't mind driving a little bit, there's Innovative Motorworks (IMW) in Carlisle, PA. Very good shop, and if you want to drive a bit more, my personal recommendation and my tuner is Jeff Evans, of Evans-Tuning. He's a great guy, beyond helpful, and his Integra ran an 8 second pass this past weekend at the World Finals at MIR. Highly recommend him and have never seen a negative comment on his work.

Its not that I mind the drive, I just dont have someone to drive me back and forth to get my car worked on lol. I would prefer somewhere in Maryland to get the work done, and then maybe take it out to someone like Jeff Evans for a nasty tune. I just need to find a nice shop who won't take forever and charge outrageous prices.

CCT is junk. they've done 5 of my friends car, all had soo many issues and they overcharged the **** outta them. go to innovative motorwerks in PA. they are reliable and fairly priced. and make great numbers.

my boy spent over 10g at CCT and his RPMs didnt work on his cluster, they used a gatorade bottle and JB weld for his radiator overflow, and **** was just half assed and zip tied on, they replaced his full external MSD ignition with a stock one and told him they would give it back..they didnt..so much other ****.

Bluff - are you Nick, that avatar looks familiar haha.

Maybe take it to Import Sports to build it if you don't wanna travel to IMW. Still recommending IMW/Evans Tuning for the whole build, but def Jeff for the tune. Reasonable rates and always helpful.
