No I dont but you can come to NY and find someone quickly...Just wondering why you r not just going to put a turbo on the d17..K swap is great but a lot of money and a lot of time...You can turbo our cars for $4000 and get more power than just the k swap...but k swap will def be more reliable.....Personally turbo is the way to go but if you got the money go for it...

Ps you r not going to find a shop to do it quick...will normally with all part already ordered...take 2-3 days...

yeah i was hoping to have it done once i get the parts within three days! my budget is about 6k-7k. do you have the website for the d17 turbo kit your talking about so i can check into it. i still think that a turbo k20 would be nasty!! i know that if i am going to turbo the d17 then i am definitly going to have to change the head to a vtec one!!

well....go to dezod.com...they have 2 differnt kits for our cars....they are right in buffalo about 20 min from me...they do amazing work and would be worth the drive......

You dont have to change over to the ex head...the dx and lx head is ok to boost also.....but with the dezod kit its about $ 4500 for everything you need..than for another $1500 you could get it installed and tuned

well the one kit for $6400 looks good but wouldnt it be better to just do a k20?? buffalo is like 6 hours from poughkeepsie and like 8 from me! thats a serious drive. i could always buy the kit and then have it installed down here by a local shop. do you have a turbo on your car?

ya bro...I just turbo'd my car in feb...It cost me about $3500 for everything right now....did it all myself custom....

OBX Racing manifold
T3/T4 turbo
FMIC
Universal black 2.5 in IC piping
38mm wastegate
Fake ssqv
SYS 2.5 in catless exhaust
custom downpipe.
Apexi Neo

Overall the parts cost me about $1500 for everything...But than after all the little bs and parts you need it will be a little more....I am now saving to get a real tuning system...AEM Fic and that will cost me another $1200 with tune...

But bro dezod is the best in the area for our cars...they do amazing things to the d17 and would be able to help you out a lot...the 8 hour ride will be well worth it..plus....you get to drive home 8 hours running boost...trust me you will love it

just talleid it up for my spending limit! i have 7500 for the build! i think i want to swap for the ctec head though instead of keeping my dx head! maybe i can do the big kit they got mixed with a cat back exhaust, 8lb flywheel, stage2 clutch, better cam, cam gear, valve springs, and intake manifold!? that should be pretty sick i guess. how much horse you putting out for your build and do you have a quarter time yet??

Its not fully tuned right so No to both questions. I am taking it to dezod in the next month or so to have them finish the tune. Once its tuned better I will go to kennedy dyno tune and get it dyno'd..As for the 1/4 mile time the only track around me is Lancaster speedway and thats 1/8 mile track..Really sucks...So I haven't ran it I dont really see the point on such a short track...

But personally i would say do a custom kit if you know what your doing. If not than get a complete kit like dezods...I mean its all up to you but personally I love the sound of the turbo spooling and the bov going off...

id suggest against the dezod kit. nothing fits, their turbos have known to go back very fast, their IC piping doesnt fit, the bumper needs to be cut for the IC, their manifolds are all outsourced and you dont get the lifetime warrenty that they originally had from the original welder on your items. screw dezod. why do you think hes not on HT? 2 reasons... he cant make money here AND hed get bashed half way to hell for putting half *** parts on the market

I wouldnt say its complete crap. poeple may have problems with the turbo it self, but basicly everything else is prefectly fine. the parts are good. as for cutting the bumper, from what i was told, you do not have to do that. the person doing my kit for me, said you dont have to at all, and he is running the same kit.

if you price it out, your paying more just to have it as a "kit". the BOV and the WG are the only parts id even consider for my car. I do have the same Tial WG but my BOV is from HKS.

Anyways, i personally have seen it NOT fit on someones car. Im pretty sure you know who boilermaker is and you know hes not an idiot when it comes to stuff like this. neither is skipbarber or andyman.

lol yeah i understand. i know who they are. seems like more people are just peiceing there own kits up. it would be nice if someone made a kit that had no issues at all, but it seems like its alot to day.

im actually trying to meet up with andy on my way back up from NC. ill be boosted again. very exciting.
