It may sound like a broken record, but an H4 HID kit installed in the factory 5th gen. Civic headlamps is not going to work out well.

The bulbs are uncoated halogen, so I'd imagine it's somewhere in the area of 3700K, but that's just a personal estimate. The idea is not to produce a "hyper-white" or HID appearance, simply to generate more and better light.

haha I think the question should be, what's the LEAST I should pay? I've seen HID kits going for $150 these days. You know those have to be junk, because a single Philips/Hella ballast goes for $100-$150.
I wouldn't pay less than $300 for a complete retrofit kit consisting of D2S projectors, ballasts, and OEM 4300K D2S bulbs.
