Upgrade headlights for 1988 Civic wagon
I would like to upgrade the bulbs on my 1988 Honda Civic Hatchback Wagon for safety reasons.
I have read various thoughts and experiences about what I can do. For th one low beams, the 9006, is it true that if I get better bulbs, that it might blow out my electrical system or last a very short time? Please let me know any recommendations or is it that the civic can have a better bulb installed but it might mess up the car? Someone mentioned the wagner safety lites as well as the sylvania silverstar ultras? I read somewhere that Sylvania lost a class action suit in 2015 with regard to these bulbs.. I don't know what is accurate. Please help. Thank you, Jon |
Re: Upgrade headlights for 1988 Civic wagon
The sylvania series is good and stays with the 55w range , youll be fine . If you want to go aftermarket , then youll have to worry about relays and grounds .
