Reverse Light ??

I have a 97 Honda Civic Coupe. It is a manual transmission but it was an auto before. I was wondering if there is any way I can get the reverse lights to work? I won't pass inspection for this little thing...Help Pls???

You can unhook the clip to the switch on the transmission . use a paperclip to complete the circuit. If it lights up the switch went bad.
