Default Prelude LED Dash Light Questions before I do it

Basically it goes like this. I have a 93 Prelude VTEC and the blue/green gauges have faded. I thought about getting the EL gauges but I don't want to do the whole wiring harness thing yet. So I figured I just brighten mine up a bit in the mean time. Now for the questions:

-If I put in some super bright whites will it be the color I have now but brighter because the film? Or are the bulbs colored too?

-It says the general instrument cluster bulbs are 74. Where can I get some seriously bright bulbs that will fit in there and work? (Links are preferred so I don't have to click around to find them, I normally screw it up somehow.)

-Any 4th gen (92-96) write ups out there?

Please don't tell me to use the search. I did and not much came up. Thanks for any help. I appreciate it a lot.

http://www.sylvania.com/Consum...t.htm

That'll give you the # of the bulb you need, and specifics about it.
Go from there?

It says to use 74 bulbs...But from the 9 conversions i have done the 74 bulbs ( led style ) are never birght enough. I use the 194 single LED wide angle in there, they will fit in the holes for the 74's but you have to epoxy them into place or glue them somehow. And you need to solder wires in for them, but they are way brighter and cleaner.

I've never soldered wires before. I imagine I could do it. Do you have any pics of the gauges so I can decide whether or not I should stress out about learning how to solder and where so glue it into place? Thanks. Good info so far.

You can now get 74 with 6 SMT leds that are very bright on them, they seem to work not bad...I have used 1 full set of them, but they do have some hot spots from the ones I have used...
