Back up light
 

I have a 94 Honda Accord stick shift, and my back up light stays on but I noticed that when I'm gonna shift to reverse they go off but as soon as I shift in reverse or out of reverse they come back on. I went to the back up light sensor and disconnected it.. Is the problem in the stick or the sensor? I need help please
