i think i seen on another forum that you do....i think the bulbs will be too long and not fit in the lense....try putting them in there and you'll find out.....whenever you finish it, show pictures with the completed project...i was wanting to do this with my foglights

well i couldnt find a definite answer anywhere..

but i was having a really hard time removing the lens so i just left them there, and they fit. the light is really bright too..

the fogs are from ddmtuning.com, its their slim 35w kit.

ill take some pix tomorrow of the light, the ones i got tonight really sucked..

thanks, i've seen the 3000k. and i must say they are very yellow and very bright.

mine are the 5000k, i tried to match the headlights, but my headlight lenses are tinted so the fogs are a bit brighter..

heres a crappy pic, i cant seem to get a good one with my camera...

Damn those are bright.

To above, the best way to find out is go to ddmtuning's site. When i bought my H4 kit, they did have have 3000k's for the 35watt kit.

By any chance could you get pic's from inside the car also?

yeah they have 3k for fogs. only issue was the bulb was hitting that thing on the inside.. so i just used a phillips and pushed it down a little.. just bent that thing inside the light down some, just a little bit and then it fit fine. that was it, they are still burning bright today.

i can get some pix but probably wont be till this weekend. if i can remember.. lol

Is the bulb touching anything?

And was the kit just a plug and play with no modifications?

no the bulb is not touching anything.

electrically, yes the kit was plug and play.
i did however, modify some of the connections, not because i needed to, but just because i didnt like they way they were, (i hate butt connectors and crimps in my wiring so i removed those and heatshrink/soldered them.) thats all.

i did modify the brackets for the fog lights as can be seen in the pix.
i started with a dremel and put a cutting disc on it. then i bumped up my power and used an air powered grinder that i put a larger cutting disc on, and then i just cut the center pieces out.

looks good there. ive done one to mines but i got 3500k bulbs. and i kinda like the 3500k cause i can see more clearer than the 5000k's + and sometimes i jus drive around wit the fogs on and not my headlights cause i got city lights and cops think its my headlights. have you had any issues wit the lens yet? jus to let you kno your lens will crack soon and wen it gets colder out. i replaced mines with lexan glasses cause they are stronger and dont crack

thanks,

and made it through a pretty bad winter here without anything cracking due to coldness.

the only thing ive ever heard of that does that is a windshield, (if its already cracked).
