i think this is a great idea, but i also think that questions about accent lighting such as neon, and leds should also be taken into consideration. i know (especially neon) alot of these questions are hated on, but this is supposed to be a tech forum to help others, not a just a current trends "that **** is wack" forum. we all need to remember everyone has different tastes. in different areas of the country there are different trends and in alot of places accent lighting is still used. and im not promoting screwing tubes to your side skirts, im just saying. help dont hate, lets keep it open minded.

Honestly, neon tubing, while it does put off light, is more of a stereo/electronics issue. It's just electrical wiring. It's the same as installing an extra 12v socket or hot-wiring in a game console.

I know on the vw vortex they have a lighting forum and that gets used very heavily. I think it would clear up the appearance and cosmetic forum a lot. I think that this is most definitely a good idea...!

I was told by another staff member that 100 votes might at least get things started, but it unfortunately looks as though that may not turn out to be the case.

It's not really that simple, but at this point, the concept is at least still under consideration.
