Hey guys tryin to do a little research on the k series and im not sure which one i wanna go with. The k20 or k24? i like the fun factor of the k20s high revs but how often does that happen in a dd but on the other hand i like the torque of the k24. Also what production years should i get and engine code? Thanks alot!

Best swap for the $ is the K20A2. Find one in a wrecked RSX and get the whole setup out of it... it will be super easy.

I personally like the high revs of the K20... lots of torque down low only helps eat rubber.

I would look into the 06+ K24a2 motors, they are the best K series motors out IMO.

Can i buy the crx or accord k24s and just upgrade to tsx pistons?

The CRV block doesnt need any modifications to accept a true iVTEC head. The accord/elemnt motor needs the pistons changed but you can swap em out on the other K24's if you'd like.
