Hi guys, I have a 2003 CRV that I am going to replace the Valve Seals with genuine Honda seals.(Unless someone thinks I should use aftermarket Viton units, which I have also) I downloaded the Honda CRV service manual, but I can't really find out how to remove the camshafts (while engine is in vehicle) without removing the cam chain. Am I able to loosen the cam chain and tilt up the camshaft to remove them? Do I remove the camshaft sprockets to remove them?

I have tried to find a Youtube video of a step by step how-to, but I can't find one. Bottom line, I have to replace the valve stem seals, and I need to some help with the camshaft removal, are there multiple methods, and if so, what is the most ideal way.

Use a bungee cord attached to the hood to keep tension on the chain with both cams removed.

I can't seem to figure out how to post the picture directly, so there is a link to a pic of the valve stem seals, from GSC Power Division. So, these, or OEM Honda seals? EDIT: Got it.

The bolt beside the VTEC solenoid, is that to release the chain tensioner?

I may have bought the wrong valve keeper removal tool, LMK if this one can work. I think I have to have the smaller version.
