Questions about k20a2/k24
Wondering what works better in 01 civic lx k20a2/k24a1crv or k20a2/k24a2tsx? Totally new to this in every way but I plan to build one or the other. I'm thinking I want the tsx block. If so I can take the 6 speed transmission from the tsx Correct? I been searching threads upon threads for answers. Please help a new guy out with this thanks.

Re: Questions about k20a2/k24
Imo if your going k24/K20 I would buy a full k20a2 swap out of an rsx type s and find a cheap crv or Element k24 block and have it fitted with supertech Pistons and arp rod bolts, or find an 06-08 longblock and use the k20 oil pump and sell the k20a2 longblock..
U should do a lot more research on k20a.org

Definitely this, good source for knowledge on that forum.
Also pointless to do a K20 head on a K24A2, the heads flow almost identically and the 06-08 TSX cams are actually the most aggressive OEM K series cam (even more so than the K20A Type-R cams I believe).

Thanks chance for the info. I'll go with k24a1 from a crv. I plan on finding info later, after I get both motors to swap out some internal parts.
