eg cross member needed for an EM1 (ek)?
ok quick question i wanna do a k24 swap and was wondering if im going to need cross members from an eg into my em1 (ek)
doesn't hasport make/sell motor mounts for this exact reason to prevent the motor from tilting forward and making sure the motor lays back a little more for better ground clearance and even for the header N axles?
want to verify this and the motor mount kit i am talking bout is hasport ekk2 k-series for 96-00 civic

you need the EKK2 kit and eg/dc crossmember so the k24 will clear the underside of the hood
people with k20 like to use the EKK2 kit for road racing as it does offer better axle angle
if you use the EKK1 kit with a k24 you will need to trim or cut the hood

That's all I need?
How bout the axels I have with power steering?
What's more reliable, ekk2? Does ekk1 cause clearance problems like with the header etc. and could I use hood risers

axles will be fine with ps. you can even keep ps with custom lines and a k-series pump
ekk1 with hood spacers still wont clear a k24 nor ps

Have a k20 in my em1 fits in there perfect just needed the mounts. Went with innovative, they work good too. As for the axle angle, it's decent, could be a little better.
