Can someone please tell me why the K-tuned side mount pulley kit won’t work on the 2014 Si? Mike wasn’t very helpful

It doesn't bolt up to the location where the original steel engine bracket bolts up.

Sorry if I seem uneducated with Honda’s in general my 1st car was 90 Crx with a JDM ZC 1.6 DOHC all motor my second car was 89 hatch with B20 swap last car 98 Civic EX coupe all motor D16Y8..... That being said I picked up yoshi at a dealer back in April 47,000 miles as a semi old school Honda owner that didn’t do much research on the car or the K series Engine I don’t know if I am overwhelmed by the lack of engine bay clutter or maybe intimidated by the K24 the 9th gen is still a mystery to me.... finding pulley set ups or even a adjustable tensioner and idler cause if I am going to boost it I would rather have as much of little things installed as possible so the cars not down for a week... So ya total noob on the 9th gen and definitely not into the drive belt auto tensioner which is what I wish to eliminate but keep the A/c and P/s so any advice on what route I should go would would sick... and so even if I swapped that motor mount to hasport and got side mount pulley kit for the K24 with the K24 side mount bracket it still won’t bolt up???? Could I fabricate the bracket to make it work? Please I need answers to end my confusion

The mounts do not have anything related/to do with the auto tensioner assembly. You can install the HASport replacement mounts, but this change will not make it possible to use the K-Tuned side mount tensioner assembly. I am not sure how to explain it any better, but if you simply look at the black steel bracket bolted to the outside of the chain case cover, and compare this to the K-tuned side mount, you can see that they are NOT similar at all. The HASport replacement mounts still use the original bracket.

Does this make sense now ???
