I have been needing a replacement engine for quite some time now, and have looked at the k24a2 quite a bit. Hmotorsonline has a deal right now for a "JDM K24A (TSX) RBB Cylinder Head Long Block" that is 1200 bucks rather than 2300 that a k24a2 would run me. I spoke with them over the phone and was told the specs are the same as a k24a2. If I were to run this engine I would still be boosting on my tr3030r turbo so the question is, has anyone had one of these engines and boosted it? I have a good idea on the limits of a k20a2 but I don't know about this particular engine.

I feel like I will end up doing another k20a2 as planned but I have been weighing the odds.

Go big GoldieWang... the JDM TSX replacement engine will be fine and the torque numbers will be awesome !!! The turbo will spool earlier and the reliability is similar.

I sure hope you are right about that. I have a k24a4 at home that I bought from a friend disassembled but thought about build it. Idk yet its a big decision.

When i was at the dyno with my jdm k24a (yeah its the same as a tsx) i was picking the tuners brain a bit and he said the stock motors can and do make 500whp. Im sure headstuds wouldnt hurt but they are quite capable motors
