JDM TYPE R O2 SENSOR QUESTION
i have a 1993 honda delsol with a jdm type r swap, i got the motor from a buddy that had it in a 92 hatchback, also ran it with no o2 sensor? hmmm..
im not sure if that was good or not but i need to know if i need to run it in mine or not & also what color the wire is or wires that goes to it because im not really sure, also, i keep hearing about secondary o2 sensor on this motor, do i have to run two o2 sensors?? please help one more question... what color is the wire for the oil pressure sending unit? thanks guys!! |

By Type-R motor I am assuming it's a DC5 R motor and not a B18C/5, correct? Just to make sure lol. Anyway, do you have K-Pro?
Also, the K Motor thread is going to be more help for you because you don't have either a DC5 or an EP3. |

What engine do you have? B or K?
If you have a K, and you are using the stock Type R ECU then you will need both O2 sensors to make the car run correctly. If you have a KPRO, then disable the secondary o2. The Primary wideband o2 sensor has 1 Green(or blue if it is a replacement), 1 white and 2 black wires. The secondary sensor has 1 gray, 1 white and 2 black wires. What conversion harness do you have? |
