I have a couple of question just because i have came across a totaled eight gen si.
First is a k20z swap the same as anyother k20a swap?
Second can I use the FG2 sub frame for my swap?
I know I have to use an ecu out of and 04 or old rsx for hondata so is wiring still going to be the same?

I think a z3 will work cause you run the drive bt wire and use the z3 ecu to use the hondata flash pro

The mount points are the same. You will need to purchase the RSX or EP3 rear trans bracket. For shifting, you will need to either modify the trans or change shifter and cables. The electronics are close. You will want a cable throttlebody instead of DBW. The Accord K24A2 or Accord Euro R will bolt straight to your manifold with just a little modification. Or you can use the RSX T-body with an adapter. The Speed sensor from the new trans will need either a Dakota Digital Universal Speedometer Interface, or if you are going with a Hondata K-Pro it can be worked out through that.

Nope, sell it to someone who wants to swap a K in their 8th Gen.

Yes, you need to use the 02-04 RSX wiring harness. You don't have to go K-Pro though, you can just have the ECu reprogrammed to accept your key's signal.

sorry all, i'm newcomer to IT. live in south east asia. would like to req kind help from anybody; 7th gen commonly at my place got 1.7 called rs, & 2.0 called rsx..am i right? this k swap from dc5 is it the same for both (1.7 & 2.0 body) in term of mounting points. thanks in advance.
