2008 Element K24a8 ECU questions
I have a 2008 Element and I want to swap A/T to manual. I have done a few motor swaps/ tranny swaps but never an Element/ new stuff.
2 questions
First, can I swap the tranny in and with rewiring things like neutral safety switch, clutch switch etc and not need a new ECU? If I remember correctly this is an option on some cars.
Second, If I decide to wire in KPRO, will the OBD2 port output (04rsx?) jive with any 'official' connection that has to be made to it?
I understand no one has probably actually worked on an Element like this, but an educated/experienced guess would be appreciated.
K24a8 is electric throttle equipped.
