Yup. Needs an engine. Not right away. I bought it from my mechanic for $1k, knowing it will need an engine. It blows blue smoke, previous owner showed up at his shop with no oil - none. He looked inside with scope, saw scored cylinders. So. Until it actually dies, I'm driving! Runs like a top, only shows oil smoke when starting on cold day. When time comes, I'll get a good used engine (UK build) and stick her in meself. Have the manual and youtube. Otherwise, a beautiful body, perfect interior, no rust and everything works car!

Only real problem is the insanely stupid ABS / VSA system, which comes on and off whenever it feels like. I know many out there like their safety devices - I object to them. Especially when they do not allow me to turn them completely off. This is the beginning of the war against Artificial Intelligence. I have tried to disable it via fuses, which causes the entire electrical system to shut down - including emergency blinkers! And once I pulled over in rush hour traffic on the interstate, no flashers, and it was locked in PARK ! How stupid is that?
